Ethical treatment of Coatings waste
Over the last 20 years the Coatings Industry has changed its tack on the disposal its waste. The costs involved in disposal have rocketed. Landfill charges being just one example.
Last year 400 million litres of paint were sold in the UK. Of this, it is estimated that approximately 56 million litres are unused, stored in homes or garages or just thrown away. Thats enough paint to fill 22 Olympic-sized swimming pools! And that is just in the Decorative Trade and Retail marketplace.
Polytoll offer Paint manufacturers an opportunity to ethically dispose of their waste whether that be remaindered stock, old livery, customer returns, faulty product, surplus Raw Materials etc etc by utilising Polytolls reprocessing partners to reclaim, recycle or reprocess and respect the products. This is done by innovative use of the waste in a wide range of end uses.
