Toll manufacturing is a very important feature of Polytolls’ business. Polytoll offers cost effective and efficient third party manufacturing service for a wide range of coatings and coatings related products. Examples of which include products ranging from simple solutions such as Solvent blends, fungicidal solutions, standard aqueous and solvent based products through specialist industrial coatings like laminating adhesives and UV cured lacquers to complex colour dispersions. Polytolls’ staff has a wealth of experience in the coatings and colouration industries. This is accompanied by our commitment to ensure that all discussions relating to potential toll manufacturing projects are carried out in the strictest of confidence.

Ethical treatment of Coatings waste
Polytoll offer Paint manufacturers an opportunity to ethically dispose of their waste whether that be remaindered stock, old livery, customer returns, faulty product, surplus Raw Materials etc etc by utilising Polytolls reprocessing partners to reclaim, recycle or reprocess and respect the products. This is done by innovative use of the waste in a wide range of end uses.

Colour vision screening
Mistakes within any colour adjustment process are time consuming, expensive and often irreversible. Things have moved on since Dr Shinubo Ishihari invented his coloured plates in 1917. Today’s state of the art systems provide quick, easy and precise tests to determine colour vision anomalies and detailed colour discrimination that cannot be circumvented. These ensure, analytically and without subjectivity, that your staff have all the skills they need to protect your investment. The Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test itself is used to separate persons with normal colour vision into classes of superior, average and low colour discrimination and to measure the zones of colour confusion of colour defective people.

Pigments
Polytoll is currently evaluating a range of pigments from the emerging markets in the Far East primarily India and China. With the aim of supplying of a range of high quality, low cost pigments which stack up favourably against the high performance European pigments for use in Inks and coatings.
